Security & Compliance
SOC 2 Type II
VisualZen has completed a SOC 2 Type II examination for the VZO Platform, performed by independent auditor Prescient Assurance LLC.
The examination evaluated VisualZen’s controls relevant to Security and provides independent assurance regarding the design and operating effectiveness of those controls.
VisualZen’s SOC 2 Type II report is available to authorized institutional reviewers under appropriate confidentiality protections.
TX-RAMP Level 2
VisualZen is TX-RAMP Level 2 certified, meeting the security and regulatory requirements established by the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) for cloud solutions used by Texas state agencies and higher education institutions.
PCI DSS
VisualZen maintains PCI DSS compliance for its applicable service-provider responsibilities.
VisualZen does not directly receive, store, process, or transmit cardholder data. Payment activity occurs within applicable third-party payment-provider environments.
Higher Education Security Review
HECVAT
VisualZen maintains a HECVAT 4.1.6 assessment, providing institutions with information about our security, privacy, technology, governance, and risk practices.
HECVAT helps higher education institutions evaluate technology providers using a framework developed specifically for the higher education community.
Accessibility
VPAT
VisualZen is committed to supporting accessible experiences for the institutions and people we serve.
Our Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) provides information institutions can use to evaluate the accessibility of our platform in relation to applicable Section 508 and WCAG criteria.
Business & Supplier Credentials
SWaM Certified
VisualZen, Inc. is certified through the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business (SWaM) program as a Small and Minority-Owned Business.
This certification provides institutions with an independently verified supplier credential that may support supplier diversity, procurement, and contracting requirements.
